By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

What this site is

A description of what we do and where we do it. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it forms a contract. Venues shown here are examples of places we have worked or would recommend; we do not own them, we cannot hold them, and their availability, rules and prices are theirs to change without telling us.

Enquiries

Sending the form does not book anything, reserve a date, or oblige either of us to anything. It starts a conversation. We reply to everything genuine, but we are not obliged to accept any particular piece of work, and we sometimes decline it — most often because we are already committed on the date.

Please give us accurate information. We rely on what you tell us when we advise you, and we are not responsible for advice that was right for the facts we were given and wrong for the facts we were not.

Fees quoted here

Nothing on this site is a quotation. Our fee is fixed against an agreed scope and follows the complexity of the event rather than its budget, so the figure for yours is settled with you rather than read off a page. Any worked example we publish describes past events and is not a promise about yours.

Budget ranges given for a destination or a venue are estimates based on what comparable events have cost. They are not quotations from those venues, and they move with the season, the guest count and the exchange rate.

A fee becomes binding only when it is written into a signed agreement. Where we quote in euros, currency conversion and any bank charges are yours.

Photographs, text and marks

Everything on this site — the photographs, films, illustrations, maps, written text, and the Magic Day name and wordmark — belongs to us or is used with permission. You may read it, print it and share links to it. You may not copy it, republish it, or use it to train a model or build a competing service without our written permission.

If you believe something here infringes your rights, write to us and we will look at it promptly.

Accuracy

We keep this site as accurate as we can, and check what we publish against what we have seen ourselves. Even so, capacities change, rules change, venues close and prices rise. Nothing here is warranted to be current, and you should not treat it as the last word on a property. We will tell you what is true today when you ask us.

Links to other sites

Where we link elsewhere, it is because we thought it useful. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for them or for what they do with your data.

Using the site properly

You agree not to:

• submit the forms automatically, or in volume, or with false details;
• attempt to gain access to any part of the site or its systems you are not offered;
• scrape or systematically copy the content;
• upload anything containing malicious code.

We may refuse or remove any submission, and restrict access, where we believe this has happened.

Files you send us

When you attach a CV, a brochure or a company profile, you confirm that you are entitled to send it and that it contains nothing unlawful. We use it only to consider what you wrote to us about. We do not publish it and we do not pass it on.

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Our liability for the planning work itself is dealt with in the signed agreement, not here.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may amend these terms. The version that applies is the one published when you use the site, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law, and the courts of Paris have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
